MARITANA VINEYARDS was established in 2017 by Donald Patz after the sale of Patz & Hall in 2016. MARITANA VINEYARDS is focused exclusively on the Russian River Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes
A single vineyard wine produced from the Dutton Ranch “Shop Block 1967” in Graton, planted originally in 1967 to Chardonnay. The vines are now over 50 years of age and producing powerful, complex wines each year. This is the first year for Maritana Vineyards (2017) and is drinking at its peak with a long plateau of drinkability ahead of it.
