The Story
Qualia comes from the Latin word meaning “what sort” or “what kind”. It is a term used in philosophy to describe how we sense the things around us. At Qualia Wines you will sense freshness, life, service, authentic quality and personality.
Winemaking
The grapes come from 1000 hectares of the proprietary vineyards in the Murray Darling region of Australia. The vineyard strategy is to farm small to mid-sized holdings spread throughout the region. This approach ensures consistency and quality through blending options and mitigates any loss through crop damage or weather events.
The goal is to make wines that complement a contemporary lifestyle and have an ‘above and beyond’ attitude towards delivering quality and relevance in a highly competitive market.
Tasting Notes
The aromas are rich and ripe with plenty of plum, sweet vanilla oak and a hint of pepper on the nose. With one sip you'll notice the beautifully structured layers of complexity highlighted by plenty of fruit, spice and oak.
