The Place
Situated in Languedoc, Chateau-Veyran farms 90 hectares of vines with a focus on respecting the surrounding ecosystems and biodiversity. For more than 10 years, the vines have been worked sustainably using prophylactic methods and mechanical maintenance of the soil to improve the vineyards well-being. The vineyard is grown on a remarkable hillside terroirs of schists and limestone.
Winemaking
Crafted from limestone-rich soils scattered with ancient Villafranchian pebbles, this wine is the purest expression of its land. The vines, nestled on sloping terraces with a protected northern exposure, benefit from slow, even ripening—preserving freshness while capturing the sun’s warmth.
Each grape variety is harvested at peak maturity, in two precise stages, ensuring optimal balance and complexity. Following a long, patient vinification, the wines are blended with care to reveal their full aromatic potential.
Tasting Notes
Spicy raspberry notes accompany dense, well-structured tannins, all wrapped in a surprisingly delicate, almost feminine texture. The result is a sunny, sensual wine—rich in character, refined in feel, and unmistakably shaped by its terroir.
