2022 Garnacha Rosé

The Story
One of the area’s leading wineries, known for the quality of its Garnachas. Established in 1984, many of the more ancient vineyards have been preserved after a recent vineyard restructuring. Now run by a young team that combines quality, tradition, modern expertise and value.
Winemaking
Made from low-yielding Garnacha vines, situated at 500 metres above sea level in the foothills of the Moncayo mountain. The intensely hot summers and very cold winters, the sharp contrast between night and day temperatures and the poor limestone soils produce fine and elegant wines full of local character. The winemaking begins with 8 days of cold maceration to extract colour and aromas. The must is drawn off and racked using a flotation system before temperature controlled fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at 18C.The wine is clarified, stabilized and filtered before bottling young, fresh and fruity.
Tasting Notes
Vivid pink colour it explodes out of the glass with fruity aromas typical of the Garnacha grape variety. Expect wild berries, strawberries and raspberries, with subtle floral notes. Full-bodied and rounded with a crisp and lingering finish.
