2021 Reuilly Blanc

The Story

The Reuilly vineyards are situated in the Centre Loire Region right at the heart of Berry (2 hours south of Paris). Our vines are planted over 6 hectares stretching to the banks of the Arnon, by the Cher River. They are planted on gentle-sloping hillsides of marl limestone and on high terraces of sand and gravel. The vineyard is planted to 80% Sauvignon Blanc.

Winemaking

The Domaine has joined "Terra Vitis" organization and has committed to a sustainable winemaking process. The goal is to achieve healthy and genuine wines allowing the full expression of the terroirs. In the cellar the wine is made in a state-of-the-art production facility. The wine is aged on fine lees and stirred regularly to ensure richness.

Tasting Notes

Dry and fruity, with apricot and white flower (lilies) aromas. This wine has a discreet yet fragrant nose. The first sip strikes the palate nicely to reveal this fine fruit thanks notably to a light acidity which balances the wine’s structure. Throughout the tasting, a fine lingering sensation dances across the palate. This wine ends on a very pleasant and fluid note.
