2022 Sauvignon Blanc
$19.95 x 12
The Story
This wine comes from one of the oldest wine regions in Bordeaux, just across the river from famous estates on the Left Bank. Overlooking the Gironde Estuary, this amphitheatre of vines forms the La Rose Bellevue vineyard. It is located on the highest point of Saint Palais and its protected rows of vines are grown in mixed soils of fine gravel, sand and silt.
Winemaking
The winery is HEV (High Environmental Value) certified and that translates into the purity of the wine. The wine goes through 100% stainless steel tank fermentation to ensure a precise and delicious end result.
Tasting Notes
This is one of the finest estates in Blaye and has been owned by the Eymas family for three generations. Their white wine is predominantly Sauvignon Blanc with flavours of citrus, dry herbs, and red delicious apple.
