2021 Chablis 1er Cru Les Fourneaux

The Story

A multi-generational estate that stretches over an area of 18 hectares including a range of Chablis appellations such as Petit Chablis, Chablis and Chablis 1er Cru.

Winemaking

Located on the right bank of the Serein, this 1er Cru undergoes traditional vinification in temperature-controlled tanks. It is then vinified on fine lees for 8 months before being bottled.

Tasting Notes

The result is a fruit forward wine, that is round, rich and aromatic. A crisp mineral expression of the Chablis terroir mixed with hints of spices, yellow fruits, peach, and fresh almond aromas on the nose - with hint of fresh butter.
