2022 Fleur De Gabbro
$23.95 x 12
The Story
Since 1680, La Tour Gallus, a vineyard of 16 hectares has been passed down from generation to generation. The town of Gorges is located 4 km from Clisson, in the region of Nantes. The vines are grown in altered magmatic rock called, Gabbro.
Winemaking
Damien Rineau is a passionate winemaker who works alone in the vineyard to ensure authentic wines made in harmony with the landscape. Grapes are harvested in the best conditions, then pressed immediately after selection for optimal translation of terroir to bottle.
Tasting Notes
The wine is light in color with green reflections. The nose is mineral with an early expression. Enriched on lees, this wine is ample, full and mineral. A nice structure in mouth, wonderful density and strong identity due to the soil made of Gabbro.
