THE STORY
The Serena family's winemaking history dates back to 1881 and is now in its fifth generation. Based in Conegliano, in the heart of Prosecco country, Serena Wines created the Serena 1881 collection to combine its long sparkling-wine tradition with a contemporary style. Prosecco DOC Rosé brings together the freshness of Glera with the delicate red-fruit character of Pinot Nero.
THE VINEYARD
The grapes are sourced from the Prosecco DOC production area encompassing the provinces of Treviso, Padova, Pordenone and Venezia. The blend combines 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Nero, producing an elegant sparkling rosé with freshness, fragrance and vibrant fruit.
TASTING NOTES
Bright, delicate pink with a lively perlage and persistent mousse. The bouquet is intense and aromatic, with notes of white and red flowers, apple and pear, followed by delicate hints of strawberry and raspberry. Fresh, pleasant and harmonious on the palate, with vibrant fruit and an elegant, refreshing finish.
FOOD PAIRING
Perfect as an aperitif and an excellent partner for appetizers, shellfish and delicate fish dishes.
